Estimating GFR - the European Kidney Function Consortium (EKFC) equation

With its extended age range from 2 to 90 years, the recently published European Kidney Function Consortium (EKFC) equation (1) is an attractive alternative to CKD-EPI for estimating GFR.

This is especially true if you are involved in the care of patients transitioning from pediatric to adult nephrology.

As I could not find an online calculator for EKFC, I put one up here:
